Penn State’s Page Center To Honor NBC’s Lester Holt, Two Business Executives February 22

Penn State’s Arthur W. Page Center will host its seventh annual virtual award show to honor nationally renowned communicators at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22. Lester Holt, the lead anchor for NBC’s Nightly News weekday program, will headline the event’s honorees.

Each February, the center honors three long-standing communicators who have been deemed “trusted sources” over the course of their careers in the fields of journalism, business, or public relations within the public sector.

Aside from Holt, General Motors CEO Mary Barra and former IBM Senior Vice President Jon Iwata will also receive the Page Center’s Larry Foster Award for Integrity in Public Communication.

A Q&A session with each honoree will be offered to discuss the roles of integrity, responsibility, and ethical soundness in their work. The forum will be opened to the public via Zoom.

The event is accepting registrations now and is free to anyone interested in attending.
