Penn State Football To Host Run-On Tryouts Starting March 1

Do you want to be the next Carl Nassib or Matt McGloin?

Now’s your chance, as Penn State football is hosting walk-on run-on tryouts beginning this week. If you want to wear black shoes and basic blues, this is your shot.

Those interested in trying out can attend information sessions at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, or at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, on Zoom. Prospective run-ons are required to register by filling out a Google Form that includes questions about an applicant’s GPA, contact information, graduation year, position, and most recent football experience.

All applicants must be enrolled as full-time students at University Park. If you fit all the requirements, you could be Penn State football’s next run-on success story.
