55 Days Of Cafe Kicks Off March 13

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, folks… 55 Days of Cafe is back. The annual challenge will kick off at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 13.

For 55 days straight, dedicated students and community members must make a food or beverage purchase at Cafe 210 West. Participants who succeed will have their names immortalized on a plaque and get to attend an exclusive party with an open bar.

Cafe first debuted the challenge in 2008, and it resumed in 2022 after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Each “day” is based on hours of operation, which are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Participants must check in each day with a bouncer by showing them a receipt. To ensure there’s no confusion, you should probably definitely keep a record of all of your receipts.

If you’re out of town, you aren’t immediately disqualified. All you have to do is show proof of receipt that has food or drink items from a bar or restaurant outside of Centre County. You can do this up to five times and should email them to Cafe within a week. Sheetz and Wawa made-to-order purchases count, but packaged food, grocery store items, and gas station snacks do not.

Good luck!
