State Of State Announces ‘State Of Leadership’ Spring Conference

State of State, a Penn State-based discussion forum, will hold its spring conference from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on March 28 in the State Theatre.

The conference will feature student leaders’ presentations on modern issues, including men’s mental health and environmentalism. Refreshments will be available on-site.

Following the conference, students can continue their discussions in the Hammond and Sackett Buildings.

State of State was founded in 2012 by then-students Patrick Boynton and Suzanne Zakaria. Its annual conferences, according to its website, “give speakers a platform to talk about important Penn State issues, and to allow participants to exchange ideas in facilitated discussions.” It has held at least one conference per year since 2014.

Those interested in attending the conference can purchase tickets online.
