Penn State Model Railroad Club To Display New Setup In HUB April 4

Penn State’s Model Railroad Club will display its latest setup from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, in the HUB.

Tuesday’s layout will feature over 20 feet of railroad track, a sizable upgrade from the club’s display last October. The club typically tries to bring its layout to the HUB for at least one day each semester.

According to Model Railroad Club President Max Harris, this semester’s layout will have an interactive aspect.

“Our goal is to put the controllers in the hands of our guests and give them a chance to experience operating a model railroad,” he said.

Visitors do not have to register to view the exhibit and are welcome to take pictures and videos.

The Model Railroad Club was founded in 1955 and is one of Penn State’s oldest registered student organizations. To learn more, visit its Facebook page.
