Your Guide To Penn State’s 2023 Blue-White Weekend

Penn State football is back in action on Saturday for the first time since winning the Rose Bowl, as the team returns to Beaver Stadium for the annual Blue-White Game.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, with tailgate lots opening at 8 a.m. In addition to the game, Blue-White features a busy schedule of events for fans to enjoy throughout the weekend.

This year’s game has been highly anticipated by fans and media alike who are eager to see the progress of Drew Allar, Nick Singleton, and the rest of the young core during the offseason. This year’s game is expected to follow a traditional format after last year’s practice configuration.

Blue-White Apparel & Equipment Sale

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, fans can purchase team-issued apparel and gear at Pegula Ice Arena. While supplies last, fans can find Nike shoes, clothing, and other equipment ranging from helmets to hockey sticks. Fans can make their way in through Gate A.

Public Skate At Pegula Ice Arena

Pegula Ice Arena will also host fans for a public skate session from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The event will cost $20, but the price includes skate rental. Fans who want to skate can enter the arena through Gate C.

Success With Honor Autograph Signing

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, fans can meet other Penn State student-athletes for an autograph signing outside of Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. The list of tentative athletes includes Levi Haines, Jimmy Dowd Jr., Ali Brigham, Chanaya Pinto, and Mikey Henn, among others.

Blue-White Boardwalk

You can enjoy a small carnival at the Blue-White Boardwalk in Parking Lot 41. Attractions include a Ferris wheel, a giant slide, face painting, live music, balloon artists, and caricature drawings. The boardwalk will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 14, and will reopen from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.

As supplies last, fans will also have the chance to pick up the official 2023 Football Spring Schedule Poster at the boardwalk.

Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run

On Sunday, April 16, the Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run is set to start at 11 a.m. The event is anticipating over 3,500 runners or walkers to participate in the 5k or two-mile walk.
