Penn State’s National Association Of Black Accountants Rocks Its 15th Annual Fashion Show

The National Association Of Black Accountants (NABA) kicked off Blue-White Weekend with its 15th annual fashion show on Thursday at the Bryce Jordan Center. The show was free to attend and hosted by FunnyBullQuill and sounds by Dj Rictor.

This year’s theme was “eXperience the eVolution,” and students wore their best throwback outfits as the models shocked the crowd with their nostalgic outfits.

The event began with the 90s outfits strutting the runway.

In addition to the fashion show, there was a dance battle, performances from other organizations, and a quest to find the best outfit in the crowd.

The entertainment never ended, with FunnyBullQuill cracking jokes along the way.

After those events wrapped up, it was time to hop back into fashion with the 2000s and current outfits, which carried out the heat that the 90s started.

Artist performances began after the fashion show concluded.

Dj Rictor announced students’ names, and they practically jumped out of their seats and rushed to the stage to watch New York artists Maiya the Don and B-Lovee. Maiya the Don performed “Telfy,” and B-Lovee performed “IYKYK,” two of their most popular tracks.

All in all, NABA’s event was a hit. NABA frequently hosts events to further the professional and educational goals of Black students and alumni in accounting, finance, and other business professions.
