Sisters On The Runway To Host Spring Fashion Show April 23

Penn State Sisters on the Runway is gearing up to host its annual fashion show to raise money for domestic violence prevention and awareness.

The fashion show will take place at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, at Heritage Hall in the HUB. The event will feature various Penn State students as models.

According to an Instagram post from Sisters on the Runway, the event will include various performances from student organizations, raffles, and tabling from resources in the Penn State community.

Rince na Leon, Penn State’s first and only Irish dance club, will take the stage during the fashion show. Attendees can also purchase tickets for raffle baskets, which will include gift cards and swag from places such as Vibe Coffee Co., Barnes & Noble, and more.

While admission to the fashion show is free, the organization will be accepting and encouraging donations through checks or cash. All money raised from the event will be donated to CentreSafe, a local nonprofit that provides resources and support for victims of sexual and domestic violence.

This year’s event is sponsored by Lions Pride, 3 Dots Downtown, Lock Boutique, and several other local businesses.
