Penn State EcoReps To Host Critters By The Creamery April 21

Penn State EcoReps will host a “Critters by the Creamery” event from noon to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 21, on the lawn next to the Berkey Creamery.

Those in attendance will get the opportunity to meet a variety of critters like Bobbles the barred owl, Petunia the skunk, and Sonic the hedgehog.

The animals at the event are under the care of Centre Wildlife Care, which is a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation center. The organization is completely volunteer-run and aims to restore orphaned or injured animals to their natural habitat.

Penn State EcoReps hosts a variety of programming and events on campus throughout the year. Members are student sustainability ambassadors that advocate for making Penn State a more sustainable campus through the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and specifically to inform first-year students.
