SPA, Opulence To Host ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Stars Trixie Mattel & Jujubee For Drag Show April 26

Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA), in collaboration with Opulence, will host Trixie Mattel and Jujubee for a free drag show at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, in the HUB’s Alumni Hall.

Mattel is best known for winning season three of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” and competing in season seven of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” In 2018, her album “One Stone” charted No. 1 recording artist on the Billboard Heatseekers list. Additionally, she released a documentary, book, and podcast.

Jujubee was a contestant on season two of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” season one of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” and “RuPaul’s Drag U,” a top-three finalist on season five of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” and a top three finalist on “DragRace UK vs The World.” Jujubee is also a host on TLC’s makeover series “Dragnificent!” and is a singer-songwriter.

Penn State Opulence is the premier Drag Ambassadors Club on campus and has hosted numerous drag shows in the past.

Like every SPA event, the drag show is free for Penn State students and funded by their student-initiated fee. Tickets will be available to those who RSVP through OrgCentral at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 23.
