[Photo Story] Penn State’s Campus Through The Seasons
Happy Earth Day!
There’s nothing quite like Penn State’s beautiful campus throughout the four seasons. From beginning the fall semester in sweltering conditions to hiking to class in the middle of a snow squall in the winter, students see weather of all extremes. Each season comes with its own palette of colors that spans throughout all of campus.
Throughout the year, our visual staff has photographed campus in each and every season. On this Earth Day, enjoy the views and colors that Dear Old State has to offer.
Shortly into the fall semester, the leaves start to change colors. Campus is painted with hues of red, yellow, and orange.
Even the sky follows suit some nights with fiery, vibrant sunsets.
During the winter months, it’s not uncommon to find campus glistening in a sea of white. Snow finds its way on every surface imaginable.
As students get ready for the end of the spring semester, campus begins to bloom with new flowers planted at every corner.
Students spend their time enjoying the nice weather, relaxing, studying, and hanging out with friends at the Arboretum.
Get outside today, folks! (Before it rains!)
