Kali To Perform At NCNW’s Player’s Ball April 28

Penn State’s National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) is hosting its first-ever Player’s Ball on Friday, April 28, at 3 Dots Downtown.

After you hit up the IM Fields for Movin’ On, you can head to 3 Dots Downtown from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Celebrity guest performer Kali will headline the event. Kali is a rapper from Roswell, Georgia, who is best known for hits “Wet,” “Do A Bitch,” and “MMM MMM.” She has over two million monthly listeners on Spotify and recently released “Area Codes” last month.

Tickets are $20 for due-paying members, $25 for students, and $30 for the general public. Groups can pay for bottle service starting at $160, which includes five seats and a choice of Tito’s, Ciroc, Pink Whitney, Crown Apple, or Don Julio.

For $180, hookah is included, and for $200, Patron, D’usse, Casamigos, and Hennessy are bottle options. Hookah flavors include lemon mint, blueberry mint, spearmint, watermelon mint, Jamaican mint, grape mint, and mint chocolate chip.

“This event is a fun-themed event where culture and soul are intertwined,” NCNW wrote on Instagram. “Player’s Ball has been around for multiple decades, especially in the funky 70s and the sexy 90s. This ball features a celebrity host, live music, photography, and a lot more to come!”

The NCNW is a group at Penn State that unites women of African descent through “community-based services and programs on issues of health, education, and economic empowerment.”
