The Best Of State College Mother’s Day Brunch

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, folks.

If you don’t have time to cook a well-deserved meal for the fantastic women in your life, check out some of the restaurants in and around State College hosting Mother’s Day brunches and dinners.

The Corner Room

The Corner Room will host a Mother’s Day brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The price is $32 for adults and $12 for children. Mothers will receive free mimosas, and the buffet will be capped off with desserts from the Cakeshop by Tati.

Those interested in making reservations can start here.

Barrel 21

Located off North Atherton Street, Barrel 21 will host a Mother’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 14. Reservations through Resy are encouraged for parties of up to six people. Larger parties should call the restaurant directly to secure a space.

Menu items will include apple-brined pork tenderloin, grilled skirt steak, and much more.

Gigi’s Southern Table

Gigi’s Southern Table, located on Cato Avenue off of West College Ave., is among the local restaurants to host a Mother’s Day buffet. The buffet will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is $32 per person. While several other restaurants feature breakfast items, Gigi’s Southern Table will be sticking to traditional dinner options.

RE Farm Cafe

A bit further out of town, RE Farm Cafe will offer a slightly different take on brunch and offer made-to-order omelets and a carving station. The cost for adults is $50 and is $25 for children. While there are very few reservations remaining, it never hurts to put your family on the waitlist.

RE Farm Cafe is located at 1000 Fillmore Road in State College.

Tussey Mountain

It may not be the best ski weather, but the Tussey Mountain Bar & Kitchen is open for business. The Boalsburg restaurant will open at 11 a.m. for a Mother’s Day brunch. Featured menu items include steak and eggs and s’mores French toast. To secure reservations, interested folks should call the restaurant.

Creekside At The Gamble Mill

If a few minutes of travel doesn’t bother you, Creekside at the Gamble Mill in Bellefonte just might be the place. The historic restaurant will offer a special Mother’s Day menu, which will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The location is typically walk-in only but will take reservations over the phone.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our hard-working, loving moms out there!
