Mississippi State Cornerback Audavion Collins Commits To Penn State

Penn State’s defense just got a step better.

Former Mississippi State cornerback Audavion Collins will transfer to Penn State, he announced on Instagram Tuesday.

Collins will arrive in Happy Valley with four years of eligibility remaining.

The defensive back is the fifth player to join the Nittany Lions since their Rose Bowl victory, though wideout Devin Carter decommitted from the program to go to West Virginia.

Collins spent just one year with Mississippi State before transferring and didn’t register an appearance during that time. He committed to the Bulldogs as a three-star from the recruiting Class of 2022, and chose Mississippi State over the likes of Michigan State, Cincinnati, and Tennessee.
