James Franklin secured his first commitment of June.

Three-star Class of 2024 offensive lineman Deryc Plazz announced his commitment to Penn State football Sunday morning on Twitter. Plazz is the 15th player to commit to the Nittany Lions’ Class 2024.

The 6’5,” 265-pound Florida native will join Penn State as the No. 74-ranked offensive tackle in the country, per 247Sports. Plazz is the sixth offensive lineman of the Class of 2024.

Plazz told 247 Sports that he recorded 61 pancakes and allowed only one sack throughout his junior season.

The offensive lineman chose the Nittany Lions over offers from Duke, Florida State, Kentucky, Maryland, Pitt, Virginia, Tech, Rutgers, and more.
