Penn State Men’s Soccer Releases 2023 Schedule

It’s nearly time to return to Jeffrey Field.

Penn State men’s soccer released its 2023 schedule Thursday, which includes 16 total games and 10 home matches.

The Nittany Lions will open their season against Pitt on Thursday, August 24, before returning to Happy Valley for their home opener against Le Moyne on Sunday, August 27. Five days later, the blue and white will take on reigning National Champion Syracuse on Friday, September 1.

Penn State will host two more home fixtures against St. John’s and Penn the following week before kicking off Big Ten play. Jeff Cook’s first conference opponent will be Ohio State in Columbus on Friday, September 15. Then, the group will complete one of its remaining three non-conference games against UNC Greenville three days later.

The Nittany Lions will host Howard and Detroit Mercy and Big Ten foes Indiana, Northwestern, and Michigan, while traveling to Michigan State, Rutgers, and Wisconsin throughout the remainder of the season.

Here’s a look at the full 2023 schedule, with home games highlighted in bold.
