Flo Milli To Headline SPA, Movin’ On’s ‘LightsUP’ Festival August 25

Hip-hop artist Flo Milli is set to headline the annual “LightsUP” concert, which celebrates the arrival of the fall semester.

Movin’ On and Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) have once again joined forces for another action-packed LightsUP event that will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 25, on the HUB Lawn. Flo Milli will perform at 9 p.m.

The concert is set to feature student performers and an opener in addition to Flo Milli’s performance as the headliner.

Travis Porter will open for Flo Milli, a rap group best known for its songs “Ayy Ladies,” “Walked In,” and “Bring It Back.”

LightsUP will include an assortment of other activities, including an inflatable obstacle course, airbrush tattoos, lawn games, and more.

The announcement marks the third installment of the LightsUP festival, which held its first event in 2021.

Flo Milli recorded her breakout single, “Beef FloMix” in October 2018. She later found further success and virality in early 2019 on TikTok, most notably with her single “In The Party,” which has amassed nearly 200 million streams and views since its release.

Last year, Penn State SPA and Movin’ On teamed up to bring KYLE and electronic duo 3OH!3 to the HUB Lawn for LightsUP 2022.
