KYLE, 3OH!3 To Perform At SPA ‘LightsUP’ Festival August 27

Rapper KYLE and electronic duo 3OH!3 are set to perform at the LightsUP Festival on August 27. The LightsUP Festival is annually hosted by Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) and Movin’ On to welcome students back to campus.

Free for all students, the event’s festivities begin at 5 p.m. on the HUB Lawn. 3OH!3’s set is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., while KYLE will take the stage at 9 p.m.

Opener 3OH!3 is best known for its hit song “DONTTRUSTME,” which has been streamed nearly 250 million times on Spotify. The duo has featured with Katy Perry and Ke$ha, as well as written for Ariana Grande and Maroon 5.

Headliner KYLE earned widespread fame for his feature on Lil Yachty’s “iSPY,” which ultimately went six-times platinum and landed him an MTV VMA nomination. KYLE has released three studio albums, including “It’s Not So Bad” in 2022.

In addition to KYLE and 3OH!3, LightsUP will offer a 360 photo booth, a four-in-one interactive game booth, and performances by student groups such as the Lionettes.

In past years, SPA and Movin’ On have brought in artists such as T-Pain, Ty Dolla $ign, and Jeremih to ring in the new semester.
