Transportation Fair To Return To HUB Lawn August 30

Penn State Transportation Services will host its annual Transportation Fair from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, on the HUB Lawn.

The fair will inform attendees about campus parking, biking, bus and shuttle services, ride-sharing, and Penn State Fleet services. Penn State staff will be on-site to answer any and all questions students might have about transportation and employment opportunities on campus.

Visitors can grab a bite to eat from a selection of Penn State Bakery items and enter a raffle as they browse the fair. In addition, the first 22 students to arrive at the fair will receive a Sbarro free meal coupon or a Berkey Creamery ice cream cone certificate.

To be entered into the raffle, students can tap their Penn State id+ card at each of the following seven tables: Campus Shuttle/Fleet, CATA, University Police, Biking, Parking, Spin, and Student Employment. Each tap is equivalent to one entry.

Raffle prizes include:

  • Three pairs of student tickets to see Old Dominion at the Bryce Jordan Center on December 1
  • $50 Lion Surplus gift certificate
  • Five single months of free parking
  • Ten Campus Dining guest meal passes
  • Ten Shake Smart gift cards
  • Six Penn State Bakery cookie tins
  • Starbucks gift basket
  • One three-month CATABUS pass
  • Spin ride credits

If the event gets rained out, the Transportation Fair will be rescheduled to Wednesday, September 6.
