Cow & Cookie Bakery Now Open In HUB

There’s no need to walk all the way to Berkey Creamery for your midday sweet treat anymore.

The Penn State Bakery and Berkey Creamery opened a boutique retail bakery, Cow & Cookie, in the HUB Monday, in the former location of Barney’s convenience store. Cow & Cookie once operated as a stand in the HUB, offering soft-serve ice cream, Quakes, and other Penn State Bakery products.

Now, Cow & Cookie’s retail shop offers Berkey Creamery ice cream, chocolate milk, Quakes, pre-packaged Starbucks coffee products, sliced cake, ice cream sandwiches, and other Penn State Bakery items. Folks can purchase whole cakes, too.

The boutique bakery is open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Cow & Cookie is cashless, and students can use LionCash, dining dollars, debit or credit cards, and Apple and Google Pay to check out at the bakery kiosks. Folks can also order ahead using Penn State Eats, according to Penn State LiveOn Dining.
