No. 6 Penn State Football Opens As 25.5-Point Favorite Over Northwestern

Penn State football is an outstanding favorite to win once again this week.

After blanking the Hawkeyes 31-0 in the annual White Out game, the Nittany Lions will take to the road once again as they travel to Evanston, Illinois, to face Northwestern and continue to make their way through the conference slate.

Another dominating performance at Beaver Stadium allowed the blue and white to effortlessly cover the spread once again, bringing them to 4-0 against the spread this season.

However, after no help from the visiting team, the game didn’t meet the over for the second straight week.

The Wildcats are 2-2 this season against the spread, and both of their covers came at Ryan Field.

This week, FanDuel currently has the line set at -25.5 in favor of the Nittany Lions, just over three touchdowns. The sportsbook also put the over at 46.5 points.

In its last 10 head-to-head matchups, Penn State is 6-4 against the spread and 5-4-1 while battling toward the over/under.

The conference matchup will kick off at noon at Ryan Field in Evanston, Illinois, and will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
