[Photo Story] Homecoming 2023 ‘For The Glory’ Talent Show

All eyes turned to the stage at Schwab Auditorium as it hosted the 2023 Homecoming “For The Glory” Talent Show Tuesday night.

The show featured performances by various dance troupes, a cappella groups, and THON organizations that rocked the house.

This year’s show had a packed audience along with the Homecoming court ready to support the various competing groups. Take a look at the talent show through the lens of one of our photographers.

The night opened up as the emcees introduced the first performance by Nittany Dance Project followed by Rêve Dance Company, who set the bar high for the following groups.

In between the dance performances, four a cappella groups performed over the course of the night. Each group uniquely stunned the judges with their voices.

There were also exciting performances by Tapestry Dance Co., which did a compilation of Taylor Swift songs, and Atlas danced to a compilation of “High School Musical” songs. Penn State Dance Alliance also had the audience locked in to its amazing performance.

The audience roared after the performances by Orchesis Dance Company, Rince Da Leon, and Volé.

There were also special appearances made by Whiplash and the 2023 Homecoming Court before announcing this year’s winner and concluding the show.

Urban Dance Troupe took first place for the second year in a row and punched its ticket to perform at THON 2024.
