Penn State Homecoming Names Paige Myers 2024 Executive Director

Paige Myers will serve as the executive director for Penn State Homecoming 2024, the organization announced Thursday morning.

Myers is a third-year student studying Health Policy and Administration with a minor in Diversity and Inclusion in Health and Human Development. She served as the Student Court Captain on the Court Relations committee for Homecoming 2022, and would later become the committee’s director for Homecoming 2023.

“I am extremely honored to announce Paige as my successor and Executive Director for Homecoming 2024,” said Homecoming’s 2023 Director April Komal in a press release. “Through Paige’s passion and dedication to this organization, I have no doubt she will continue to lead it into the future while still honoring the traditions of Penn State. I couldn’t have picked a better person to pass the torch on to.”

As the newly-elected executive director, Myers will be tasked with selecting Homecoming 2024’s logistics and outreach officers and filling the executive committee.

“I am incredibly excited and honored to be taking on the role of Executive Director for Homecoming 2024. As I started my Penn State journey in the second semester of my first year, I found that my love for Penn State grew so strong due to the decision to become an internal Homecoming volunteer,” Myers said in the release. “I cannot wait to bring Penn State Homecoming’s mission to life next year and to showcase the pride and passion of the Penn State Community.”

Homecoming’s selection of an executive director begins the organization’s year-long preparation to welcome back alumni, family, and friends of the Penn State community to campus in the fall. Homecoming’s theme is typically announced during THON Weekend, with its logo reveal during the Blue-White game in April.
