What Color To Wear To The 2023 Stripe Out

No. 10 Penn State returns to Beaver Stadium for a noon kickoff against the No. 3-ranked Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, November 11.

The game is the “Stripe Out” theme, an annual tradition that began in 2015, where fans wear a predetermined color — blue or white — to create a striped pattern around Beaver Stadium.

Unsure of what color you’re supposed to wear? Head on over to the official Stripe Out website and simply enter your ticket location to determine your color. If you’re a student, just wear white.

While some may say the Stripe Out isn’t as photo-worthy as the White Out, you wouldn’t want to be the one who messes up the picture by wearing the wrong color.

Penn State’s last Stripe Out was held during the Nittany Lions’ 44-31 fourth-quarter collapse against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Historically, the Nittany Lions are 5-2 in the Stripe Out game dating back to 2015, registering losses to Michigan State in 2018 and Ohio State in 2022.
