[Photo Story] Penn State Women’s Soccer’s 2023 Season

After falling to Clemson 2-1 in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight Saturday, Penn State women’s soccer’s season is officially over. Despite finishing just one step short of the College Cup, there were plenty of positive takeaways from the season.

As with any season, there were ups and downs for the Nittany Lions. With a 13-1-1 record at home this season, there was a lot to see, from goals to celebrations to penalty kick conversions and everything in between. As always, our photographers were there at Jeffrey Field for every home game to capture the action.

Let’s take a look back at some of our favorite photos from the season.

Competing with the best of the best, Penn State had to play some gritty games this season.

To have so much success this season, the Nittany Lions needed to score some goals.

With those goals came some pretty awesome celebrations.

Success requires not only good offense but an even better defense.

Right until the very end, the Park Avenue Army showed up for the blue and white to see it off through the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.

As always, every game ended with the Alma Mater.
