New Trail Brewing Company Launches ‘State Light Peach’

We’re just 17 days from the Peach Bowl, folks.

In support of Penn State Athletics and Happy Valley United, New Trail Brewing Company launched “State Light Peach,” a variation of its Penn State-inspired State Light American lager, ahead of the Nittany Lions’ apperance in the bowl game.

The specialty flavor will be available throughout the remainder of December. Folks can try State Light Peach at New Trail’s Williamsport tasting room starting Wednesday, and the cans will begin arriving at local retailers and distributors this week.

“At New Trail, we wanted to do something with our State Light to engage fans, create extra excitement for the team traveling to yet another bowl game, and give consumers something new to drink all the way through the second half of December,” New Trail Marketing Director Don Rieck said. “State Light Peach is that new, limited-time offering to get fans ready to roar.”

Similarly to its original State Light release, New Trail will donate a portion of State Light Peach sales to Happy Valley United, Penn State Athletics’ NIL collective.

“State Light has been the pre-game, in-stadium, or living room beer of choice for so many fans this season,” Director of Brewing Operations Mike LaRosa said. “We’re celebrating another post-season game, and this year we get to do it with a special beer… We think you’re really going to enjoy this one.”
