South Garner Street Dunkin’ Now Open

After a near-yearlong coffee vacancy on South Garner Street, caffeine has returned to 141 S. Garner St.

Dunkin’ opened its doors in the former location of Starbucks on Tuesday after plans to open the Massachusetts-based coffee chain surfaced in June. The location originally anticipated a fall opening, a spokesperson told Onward State in June.

The location is currently operating from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., but plans to extend hours to 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. once students return to Happy Valley, according to an employee.

All local State College Dunkin’ operations will remain business as usual along with the opening of the South Garner Street location.
