Class Of 2025 Star William Henckel Commits To Penn State Wrestling
Penn State wrestling just picked up its second commitment in two days.
Class of 2025 prospect William Henckel announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions on Friday as the fifth commitment of the recruiting class.
“I couldn’t have wanted it any other way,” Henckel wrote on Instagram.
A Southbury, Connecticut, native, Henckel is ranked as the No. 12 prospect in the Class of 2025, according to FloWrestling.
He’s recently competed at 152 and 160 pounds within the last year and battled fellow Penn State commit Joe Sealey in September, per Connecticut Wrestling Online.
Henckel will join PJ Duke, Dalton Perry, Asher Cunningham, and Nate Desmond in the Class of 2025 as the five continue their junior campaigns in high school.
