Homecoming 2024 Captain Applications Now Open

Applications to be a Homecoming 2024 captain are now live for interested Penn State students.

Completed applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 25. Those interested can begin their applications and submit them on Penn State Homecoming’s website.

Homecoming captains help the largest student-run Homecoming in the country and execute logistics before and throughout Homecoming Week. The week culminates in its parade, which features organizations throughout the Penn State community in downtown State College and selects a court from reputable students and faculty from across the university.

Those applying can choose from 13 committees that help Homecoming operate throughout the year, including alumni relations, finance management, and technology, among others. Committee descriptions and available positions can be found here.

Applicants are expected to provide a resume, rank their top-four committee preferences, and answer a few open-ended questions to help explain why they’d make a good Homecoming captain.

Penn State Homecoming announced its executive committee in November and is expected to announce this year’s theme during THON Weekend 2024.
