Penn State Women’s Lacrosse Releases 2024 Schedule

Penn State women’s lacrosse is just 35 days away.

The team announced its 2024 schedule Tuesday, which features seven home games at Panzer Stadium and 15 total matches.

Head coach Missy Doherty’s team will take on non-conference opponents Bucknell, Colorado, Pitt, Princeton, Drexel, Loyola Chicago, Lehigh, and Cornell to open the season. The group will begin conference play against Rutgers at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, in Piscataway, then return to Panzer to challenge Northwestern in its Big Ten home opener.

The Nittany Lions will also take on conference foes Vanderbilt, Michigan, and Johns Hopkins at home, while battling Ohio State and Maryland on the road.

The Big Ten Tournament is set to kick off on Saturday, April 27. Penn State is fresh off a 11-7 2023 record, highlighted by a first-round loss to Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament and a close loss to Stony Brook to open the NCAA Tournament.
