Forward Liam Beamish Commits To Penn State Men’s Hockey

Forward Liam Beamish committed to Penn State men’s hockey Tuesday, he announced on Instagram.

The Canadian is currently playing with the Fort Eerie Meteors of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League. Thus far into the season with the Meteors, Beamish recorded 39 points on 19 goals in 30 games played.

Beamish was also selected in the eighth round of the 2023 OHL Priority Draft by the Sarnia Sting.

Before his season with the Meteors, Beamish played with the U16 Niagara North Stars in the OMHA U16 league. During his first season with the North Stars, Beamish had 13 goals and 15 assists. He had a breakout year during his second season with the Stars, recording 58 points in 37 games. The forward continued his good play into the playoffs with 12 points in nine postseason games.
