Brainstorming Penn State-Themed Mad Libs
Many know of the notorious word game “Mad Libs,” but have you ever tried playing a Penn State edition?
With that million-dollar question in mind, our staff decided to come up with a Penn State-themed Mad Lib story of our own. Give it a try!
Amid the lovely landscape of Penn State, there’s a ___noun___ -themed paradise. Throughout the school year, students can be spotted ___verb ending in -ing___ on HUB Lawn and ___verb ending in -ing___ downtown. All year round, the walk to classes can be ___adjective___ depending on the weather or the ___adjective___ scooter-supremacy activity. It’s important to be aware of the ___plural nouns___ so you don’t get run over.
Off-campus, there are many ___adjective___ activities at Penn State. During the week, students and State College ___plural noun____ may find themselves ___verb ending in -ing___ at the farmers market downtown, ___verb ending in -ing___ at Raising Cane’s, or ___verb ending in -ing___ at Champs.
The bar scene at Penn State is ___adjective___. Some popular spots are Doggie’s, Champs, The Lion’s Den, and ___noun___. Penn Staters will be out any day of the week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, gameday— you better believe the bars will be ___verb___.
When football season comes around, ___adjective___ fans from around the ___noun___ come to see James Franklin and the ___adjective___ Nittany Lions. Penn State’s most ___adjective___ game is the White Out game. Students, family, friends, and alumni all come to ___verb___ and tailgate. Tailgating might be some people’s ___adjective___ part of gamedays. I mean, who wouldn’t want to ___verb___ with the opposing team? You have to be ___adjective___, though. You don’t want to see yourself on Barstool the next day.
The Penn State community offers opportunities for everyone. Students can participate in ___adjective___ extracurriculars such as club sports, ___noun___, ___noun___, and an awesome blog called Onward State!
With so many ___adjective___ things to offer in Happy Valley it’s hard to believe that ___noun___ wouldn’t be ___adjective___ here!
