Penn State Alum & Veteran To Appear On ‘Shark Tank’ February 2

Former Penn State cheerleader and Air Force veteran Haley McClain Hill will appear on Season 15 of ABC’s “Shark Tank” at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 2. The Penn State alum is the founder and CEO of Torch Warriorwear, a subscription direct-to-consumer military apparel and lifestyle brand.

Designed to empower military women around the globe, TORCH Warriorwear was founded by McClain Hill in 2021. Starting with a line of bodysuits crafted for agility and confidence in the field, the brand expanded its offerings in recent years and continues to build traction across the world with an authentic mission and digital presence.

Before appearing on ABC’s Shark Tank, TORCH Warriorwear won the 2022 Veteran Shark Tank competition. Founded in 2012, Veteran Shark Tank allows veteran-owned businesses to compete in a pitch competition, culminating in a winner receiving $50,000 for the betterment of their business.

McClain Hill herself is no stranger to the combination of bravery and individuality and has maintained a unique identity throughout her impressive career. After graduating from University Park in 2016, McClain Hill served four years of active duty, led a team of over 300 airmen, and was responsible for an estimated $9.8 million in Air Force assets.

During that time, McClain Hill was also an NFL cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers, similar to the double life led by the veteran during her time at Penn State. While in Happy Valley, McClain Hill was both an ROTC student and a Penn State cheerleader before becoming an entrepreneur.

Those interested can watch Shark Tank featuring TORCH Warriorwear live on ABC or through select streaming services.
