Registration For Undergraduate Summer Courses To Open February 2

Penn State’s course registration for Summer 2024 will open on Friday, February 2. Thousands of course options will be available to undergraduate students across 20 Penn State campuses or online through Penn State World Campus.

Before open enrollment on February 2, students can add courses to their shopping carts in LionPATH. Timelines for course offerings include Maymester courses beginning on May 6, Summer Session I courses beginning on May 13, and Summer Session II courses beginning on June 26.

Students can take a summer course for various opportunities, like catching up on missing credits or pursuing an additional certificate or minor. Summer courses can also allow students to focus on a particularly tough course individually, without the distractions of a full semester course load.

A schedule of Summer 2024 classes can be found in LionPATH, and course descriptions are available in the University Bulletin.

Applications for the Summer Success Scholarship are due April 19. Scholarships are available at any Penn State campus for eligible students who may have fallen behind in their degree progress and have demonstrated financial need.
