Penn State Department Of Animal Science To Continue Friday Meat Sales

Penn State’s Meat Laboratory will continue to hold meat sales from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Friday throughout the spring semester at its retail store, The Butcher Block, on Porter Road.

The meat sale will offer various meat products, featuring fresh beef, pork, ham, bacon, and sausages. Beef snack sticks, summer sausage, and occasionally lamb and poultry are available, too. A list of all available meat and prices can be found on the Department of Animal Science’s website.

The Butcher Block does not ship products, as it facilitates in-store purchases only. However, those outside of the State College area who want a slice of Happy Valley can purchase select products via the Berkey Creamery’s website.
