Overheard On Yik Yak: THON 2024

It’s no surprise that people feel more comfortable sharing their thoughts when no one knows who said it. The app Yik Yak allows users to post anonymously for other users in their “herd,” or general vicinity to see. This ultimately leads to people being T.M.I, funny jokes, or some all-around good vibes.

Even inside the BJC, there’s no shortage of THON-related Yaks to go around. So, we’ve decided to share a few of our favorites with you.

You can get seven chicken baskets for the small price of $84!

We may have peaked last year with the lyrics “FTK run it back, BJC is boomin.'” You never know what you have until it’s gone.

Too soon? There were many gasps, laughs, and dropped jaws when this line debuted.

Yik Yak, FTK.

Write that down, write that down!

Be so for real right now.

This professor is not FTK.

The BJC needs an all-night revival. Besides, could serve as practice for when he stops in Happy Valley in March.

Gross.
