Purple Car Wins 2024 THON ‘Car Race’

Start your engines, BJC.

THON held its annual “car race” early Saturday afternoon in a close contest that ended with the purple car securing victory.

Purple shot out of the gate and took advantage of an empty spot in the crowd to advance the car over halfway down the stands. It quickly ran into some mechanical issues, and Red capitalized to draw even going into the corner.

Red took the short line through the corner but got hung up midway through. Purple, back on its wheels, sped through the corner and arrived at the waiting entertainment captain victorious.

Congrats, sections 102 to 114, your ability to transport a cardboard cutout is unmatched.
