Penn State Men’s Hockey Forward Xander Lamppa Signs With Maine Mariners

Senior Penn State men’s hockey forward Xander Lamppa signed with the Maine Mariners, the organization announced Wednesday.

The Maine Mariners have been affiliated with the Boston Bruins since 2021. They are members of the ECHL, which is directly related to the AHL and NHL.

The Rochester, Minnesota, native has recorded 12 goals and 33 assists through 114 games played in the blue and white across four seasons.

Lamppa finished his senior season with 16 points, including three goals and 13 assists.

Lamppa is joined by Garrett Devine of the University of New England and Bennett Stockdale of SUNY Plattsburgh as the three NCAA players to sign with the Mariners.
