Homecoming 2024 Committee Member Applications Now Open

Applications to be a Homecoming 2024 committee member are now active for any Penn State students interested in getting involved.

All applications must be completed and submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 5. Those interested in becoming a committee member can begin and submit their applications through Penn State Homecoming’s website.

Homecoming committees aid in the planning and execution of the largest student-run Homecoming in the country. A number of events are set for the weeks leading up to Homecoming week, which concludes with its annual parade.

The Homecoming Parade spotlights various organizations throughout the community in downtown State College and puts together a court of esteemed students and faculty from across Penn State.

There are four committees Penn State students can choose from: Involvement, Merchandise, OPPerations, and Public Relations. Committee descriptions can be found here.

Applicants are expected to rank their top two committee choices and answer a few short-answer questions to explain how they could benefit a Homecoming committee.

Penn State Homecoming announced this year’s theme, “In Every Roar, Tradition Soars,” during THON Weekend 2024.
