Penn State men’s lacrosse found itself back inside the top four in two national polls for the first time since the preseason.
The Nittany Lions moved one spot to No. 4 in the Inside Lacrosse poll and jumped three seats to No. 4 in the USILA Coaches Poll released Monday.
Penn State boasts the longest winning streak in the country with seven straight victories since week one. The most recent of these triumphs was a 12-9 win over Ohio State on Sunday. This was the first of the Nittany Lions’ five-game conference stretch, and Penn State remains the highest-ranked Big Ten team in both polls.
The blue and white will return home for a matchup against No. 12 Maryland on Sunday, March 31, at Panzer Stadium. The Easter Sunday game is set to be played under the lights with the opening faceoff at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, and folks can watch on the Big Ten Network.
