Penn State baseball’s April 2 game against Bucknell was canceled due to inclement weather in Happy Valley.
The slated Dollar Dog Night promotion will also be canceled as a result.
The Nittany Lions will return to action at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 5, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park for Military Appreciation Night against Northwestern. The Friday night game will begin a four-game home stand with a three-game series against the Wildcats and a game against Lehigh on Tuesday, April 9.
Penn State’s challenge against the Mountain Hawks will be the team’s Country Night and penultimate Dollar Dog Night. A time for Tuesday’s match has yet to be announced.
The Nittany Lions are 13-12 overall and 4-4 at home. Mike Gambino’s group is on a three-game skid after being swept by Illinois in Champaign.
