Former Lady Lions Forward Ali Brigham Transfers To Bryant

Former Penn State women’s basketball player Ali Brigham will transfer to Bryant, she announced Friday afternoon. Brigham’s announcement came after she entered the transfer portal after three seasons with the Lady Lions.

Brigham reported entered the transfer portal just days after the Lady Lions were defeated by the Villanova Wildcats in the semifinals of the WBIT.

After spending one season at George Washington, Brigham joined Carolyn Kieger’s squad in 2021. Right away, Birgham showed her impact on the Lady Lions by becoming a starter in her first season with the team. She helped that role for the following two seasons and even started all 35 games during her most recent year donning the blue and white.

In her three seasons with Penn State, Brigham averaged 6.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. She also was named to the Academic All-Big Ten and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team during her junior season. This season with Brynat will be her final year of collegiate eligibility.

With Brigham’s commitment, the decision of one Lady Lion is still up in the air. Guard Shay Ciezki confirmed Thursday that she has entered the transfer portal with two seasons of eligibility remaining.
