[Photo Story] Celebrating The Beauty Of Happy Valley On Earth Day
Happy Earth Day, folks!
Here at Penn State, we’re blessed to go to a school surrounded by beautiful nature. This university is truly a special place to be during every season. From the squirrels to the hawks, from the rolling hills and blue skies, there’s no place like Happy Valley.
Today is Earth Day, a celebration of the wonderful planet that we live on and a reminder to treat her with kindness because Earth is our only home. To celebrate the holiday, we decided to compile some of our favorite photos of Penn State throughout the seasons.
Winter
There’s nothing quite like a snowy blanket over Happy Valley.
Winter might seem light the dullest season, but there are moments of color found all over.
Spring
Spring is when the colors of Happy Valley really shine.
Who doesn’t love blooming flowers?
Summer
During the summer, campus may be empty of people, but not of colors.
Campus isn’t completely empty. Without students, animals rule the valley.
Fall
Fall might be the prettiest time of year in Happy Valley.
Leaves aside, autumn can be gourd-eous.
