Two Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Players Named To USILA Team Of The Week

Penn State men’s lacrosse’s TJ Malone and Will Costin were named to the USILA Team of the Week, the team announced Wednesday.

Malone was also named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week while Costin earned the conference’s Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Malone scored four goals in a 15-9 win over Rutgers en route to receiving national team of the week honors for the second time this season. Malone now has 61 points — the most in the Big Ten.

Costin, a sophomore defender, tallied a career-high four ground balls against the Scarlet Knights while also tying a career-high forced turnover rate with three.

The blue and white will return to action at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Panzer Stadium for a rematch against Rutgers in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament.
