Penn State Women’s Lacrosse Jumps One Spot To No. 15 In Inside Lacrosse Rankings

Penn State women’s lacrosse moved up one spot in the weekly Inside Lacrosse poll rankings to No. 15.

The ranking follows the Nittany Lions’ 15-13 victory over Ohio State to open the Big Ten Tournament and advancement to the semifinal to challenge No. 25 Rutgers.

Northwestern, Michigan, Maryland, and Johns Hopkins are the only teams in the Big Ten ranked ahead of Penn State at No. 1, No. 5, No. 11, and No. 12, respectively. The Scarlet Knights came in at No. 25 to round out the conference’s ranked teams.

Penn State will aim to advance to the Big Ten Tournament championship game with a win over Rutgers in the conference semifinals at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, at in Evanston, Illinois.
