Penn State football offensive lineman Golden Israel-Achumba confirmed on Wednesday that he’s entered the portal. Israel-Achumba will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Penn State football offensive lineman Golden Israel-Achumba has entered the transfer portal, according to Dylan Callaghan-Crowley of Rivals. Israel-Achumba became one of five Nittany Lions to hit the portal on Thursday.

The 6’4″, 332-pound offensive lineman has primarily been a backup for most of his career. Israel-Achumba appeared in all 12 games last season as a special teamer and was named the coaching staff’s Developmental Squad Offensive Player of the Week four times last season.

Israel-Achumba was a former three-star offensive lineman in the 2020 class out of Hyattsville, Maryland. After redshirting his first year at Penn State, he earned Academic All-Big Ten Honors in 2021 and 2022.
