Report: Penn State Football Running Back London Montgomery Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State football running back London Montgomery has entered the transfer portal, according to Tyler Donohue of 247Sports. Montgomery was the latest report of several Nittany Lions entering the portal on Thursday.

Montgomery committed to Penn State as a four-star running back, according to the 247Sports Composite ratings. He was the No. 8 player in Pennsylvania and the second running back in the Nittany Lions recruiting Class of 2022, alongside Cam Wallace.

Montgomery didn’t see the field during his freshman season at Penn State. He enters the portal with four years of eligibility remaining.

Montgomery was one of several Nittany Lions to reportedly leave the program on Thursday, including King Mack, Golden Israel-Achumba, Malik McClain, and David Kency.
