Freshëns Fresh Food Kitchen To Open In EcoRE Building In Fall 2024

Freshëns Fresh Food Kitchen, a casual eatery, will open inside the Engineering Collaborative Research and Education Building (EcoRE), originally known as West 1, during the fall 2024 semester.

The restaurant is set to offer a slate of nutritious meals like grilled flatbreads, rice and acai bowls, salads, and smoothies. All of the food is served in a made-to-order format, allowing customers to fully customize their meals with vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options included. Select Penn State Bakery items and Starbucks Coffee and beverages will also be available for purchase.

“We are honored to be included as a dining option at Penn State, and we are excited to offer the campus community healthy, great-tasting options to fuel their day,” Freshëns Vice President of Marketing and Digital Content Christina Jockwig said in a release.

There are 12 Freshëns locations in Pennsylvania, inlcuding locations at Pitt, Lock Haven, and Shippensburg University.

Freshëns will accept LionCash, Campus Meal Plans, and Commuter Meal Plans.
