The All-American Rejects Show Crowd How To ‘Move Along’ At Movin’ On

Rock band The All-American Rejects, best known for hit 2000s songs “Dirty Little Secret” and “Gives You Hell,” headlined Movin’ On and rocked the IM Fields at 9:15 p.m. on Friday night.
Although the performance featured consistent rain, that couldn’t stop the band or crowd from dancing and singing their hearts out.

The All-American Rejects, consisting of lead singer and bassist Tyson Ritter, lead guitarist Nick Wheeler, rhythm guitarist Mike Kennerty, and drummer Chris Gaylor, formed in 1999 and have become a cult classic over the years.
Ahead of their performance, the crowd burst with energy as KernKraft’s “Zombie Nation” blasted through the speakers.
The Rejects opened with one of their most popular early 2000s hits “Dirty Little Secret,” as heard in many rom-coms over the years, setting the atmosphere and tone with their punk-rock and electric sounds.
The band then played “Fallin’ Apart” off of the 2008 album “When The World Comes Down,” before starting the “We Are” chant, naturally.
As the crowd echoed back to the band, little to their surprise, the Nittany Lion appeared in the pit, eventually joining the crowd for The Rejects’ performance of “My Paper Heart.”

“Let me hear you roar,” Ritter shouted into the crowd, referring to the Nittany Lion. “Isn’t it so wet and sticky?”
The band followed with “One More Sad Song, accompanied by “I Wanna,” which ended with an electric saxophone solo.
Next up was “Sandbox,” a song the band released just last week, which had the crowd jumping up and down, with some members even crowd-surfing.
“Hey, Mr. Lion! How about you wiggle along to this one?” Ritter shouted.
Then, Ritter announced that this was the band’s first time performing their next song, “Easy Come, Easy Go,” which won’t be officially released for another four weeks.
The Rejects followed with crowd favorite “Swing, Swing,” followed by their 2017 single “Sweat.”
After playing a few more songs, the rain started to die down, as the band began to play “It Ends Tonight.”
Suddenly, Ritter sprayed champagne off the stage, leading into one of the most anticipated, and perhaps fitting, song the night, “Move Along,” which was met with excited cheers from the audience.
As the band exited the stage, the crowd repeatedly chanted “Give You Hell,” the title of The Rejects’ most well-known song.
The Nittany Lion then took the stage to get the crowd even more amped up with his classic call-and-response he displays at every Penn State football game. The crowd began to ~roar~ as The Rejects stepped back on stage for one last song.

“We traveled back in time and put the Lion in this song,” Ritter said to the crowd while making lion poses. “It’s truth be told I miss you, and truth be told I’m LION.”
To close out Movin’ On 2025, the group performed its final song of the night with early-2000s crowd pick “Gives You Hell,” prompting the crowd to clap and scream the lyrics at the top of its lungs.
