Former Penn State Commit Omari Gaines Flips To Stanford

Former Penn State commit Omari Gaines has committed to Stanford, he announced Tuesday. The safety originally committed to the Nittany Lions in March of 2023 before decommitting from the university in March of 2024.

Gaines was unranked when he committed to Penn State but eventually became a three-star prospect in the year following his commitment, according to 247Sports.

Penn State’s Recruiting Class of 2025 is currently ranked No. 9 in the nation and No. 3 in the Big Ten, according to 247Sports.
